DETAILED ITINERARY HUMANTAY LAKE TREK:
Full Day trek: Cusco – Mollepata – Laguna Humantay – Zip Line and Tibetan Bridge – Cusco
The trip begins in the city of Cusco. At 5:00 AM we will pick you up at your hotel in our private vehicle. Then we will travel in our car towards Mollepata, located at 2900 meters above sea level. This trip lasts approximately 2 hours. Once we arrive at Mollepata we will enjoy a delicious breakfast, then we will have a short visit to the town of Mollepata. We will continue the trip to Soraypampa, seeing beautiful landscapes and mountains along the way, including the snow-capped mountains of Salkantay and Humantay. Finally, after 45 minutes of travel, we will arrive at the Soraypampa base camp.
From Soraypampa we will start walking towards the beautiful Humantay lake, after approximately an hour and a half of walking we will arrive at the beautiful Humantay lake and we will enjoy the beautiful views that this magical place offers. The Humantay lake is surrounded by mountains and snow-capped mountains between Humantay lagoon and Salkantay. In the Humantay lagoon we will stay a considerable time and you will have time to take all the photos you want with the snow-capped Salkantay and Humantay lagoon. Then we will return to Soraypamapa (camp) where we will enjoy a buffet lunch.
After a delicious lunch we will go to the base of Condor adventure park, where we will do the adventure sport that is the Zip line and Tibetan bridge. The Zip line is 2 metal cables that have different lengths and different speeds through which we will slide using professional equipment and then we will cross a suspension bridge of more than 100 meters. After a relaxing and full adventure we will return to the city of Cusco in our tourist mobility.
