DETAILED ITINERARY TREK:
Trek Day 01: Cusco – Ollantaytambo – Km 104 – Wiñayhuayna – Puerta del Sol – Aguas Calientes Pueblo
At 4.30 AM we will pick you up from your Hotel to transfer our vehicle to the Ollantaytambo train station. Then we will take the train that will take us to Km 104 (Chacabamba), where the short Inca Trail begins, first we will visit an area archaeological at km 104 Chachabamba this place is at 2250 meters above sea level. Then we will begin the walk along a path full of original trees from the high jungle and immediately we will arrive at the archaeological zone of Wiñayhuayna, which means always young, for some archaeologists this place was the ancient house of the Inca priests of the Inca city of Machupicchu. After visiting we will continue our walk to the Puerta del Sol from where we can have a panoramic view of the entire Inca city of Machupicchu and Huaynapicchu. From this point the walk will be pure descent passing through the entrance control to Machupicchu until we reach the town of Aguas Calientes, Night in a hotel selected by our agency.

Trek Day 02: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes – Ollantaytambo – Cusco
This day we will only have time to visit Machu Picchu. Very early we will begin the walk from Aguas Calientes until we reach the Inca citadel of Machupicchu. The walk lasts an average of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. The second option to get to the Inca citadel of Machupicchu is by bus from Aguas Calientes to the gate. entrance to Machupicchu (the bus ticket costs 12 dollars), Once we arrive at the entrance gate of the Inca citadel of Machupicchu we will meet with the entire group and then we will begin the visit with our professional guide who will explain to us in detail everything about the history of MACHUPICCHU, The tour lasts approximately 3 hours, then you will have free time to visit Huaynapicchu if you reserve your entry.
