DETAILED ITINERARY OF THE VIP SACRED VALLEY TOUR:
Tour: Chincheros Archaeological Park – Moray Archaeological Zone – Maras Salt Mines – Ollantaytambo Fortress – Pisaq Archaeological Park.
At 6:45 am we will pick you up at your hotel in our vehicle and then we will begin the trip through the VIP Sacred Valley. After a 45-minute trip we will arrive at the Chinchero Town where we will visit the archaeological park and the craft fair. Continuing the trip we will arrive at the Moray Archaeological Park where we will have a complete visit to all the enclosures. Then we will visit the town of Maras which is a colonial town where you can see different buildings with very well-carved stone doors and then we will visit the Maras salt mines where there are more than 250 salt wells from which the inhabitants currently extract salt for human consumption and it is also used for therapies for different health problems.
12:30 pm we will arrive at the town of Urubamba where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the town of Ollantaytambo and the Ollantaytambo fortress. After touring all the most important places in the Ollantaytambo fortress, we will continue our journey through the sacred valley until we reach the archaeological zone of Pisaq, which is located on the top of a mountain at 3,000 meters above sea level.
Here we will take a tour of all the sectors such as the agricultural sector, the urban sector, and finally the ceremonial sector, where the most important buildings are found, finished to perfection. Once the visit is over, we will return to the city of Cusco.
